The Upper Room
The Upper Room is a front line charity working with socially and economically disadvantaged people from some of the most deprived areas of London. They work with ex-offenders and homeless people, amongst others, to help them improve their lives and social conditions, and gain the self-confidence to become economically independent and productive members of society.
Open Doors exists to strengthen the church to be the church in the most hostile places. In over 50 countries, Open Doors is supplying Bibles, training church leaders, delivering Bible-based literacy programmes and supporting Christians who suffer for their faith. In the UK and Ireland Open Doors works to raise awareness of global persecution, mobilising prayer, support and action among Christians.
Operation Mobilisation works in over 110 countries, motivating and equipping people to share God’s love with people all over the world. OM seeks to help plant and strengthen churches, especially in areas of the world where Christ is least known.
The Bible Society
The Bible Society make Scriptures available where there are none. We work to help the church engage with the Bible more effectively. And we endeavour – through the arts, education, media and politics – to make the Bible available, accessible and credible in our culture.

BMS World Mission
BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in around 35 countries on four continents. BMS workers and partners strive every day to make Jesus known and share the full life he brings. From legal work to surgery, food projects to education, BMS works with local partners, providing help where it is most needed, among the most marginalised and least evangelised people in the world.
Operation Agri is a Baptist development charity which supports Christian-led rural and urban development projects in three continents, showing the love of Jesus in action by attacking the basic causes of poverty amongst some of the least fortunate people in the world, regardless of their religious, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Teen Challenge is one of the world’s leading drug rehab centres with a very high success rate for helping people become free from drugs and alcohol. Teen Challenge London is a faith-based, residential drug rehabilitation programme which offers men aged 18-40 freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. Based on Christian principles the programme offers spiritual and academic training, equipping individuals to return to society as responsible adults.
Christian Aid is a Christian organisation that insists the world can and must be swiftly changed to one where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great, tackling the effects of poverty as well as its root causes.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland, and a seasonal lifeguard service. With their lifeboats, lifeguards, safety advice and flood rescue, they are committed to saving lives.
Baptist Home Mission
Home Mission is all about helping Baptist churches and individuals to reach their mission potential and bring the love of God to their communities. It is the Baptist family purse, and each year the Baptist Union has an appeal to raise money for Home Mission.
